Vidyard

Vidyard is known for their playful approach to business, and their workspace certainly reflects this. For this space they proposed an under-water theme; their only request was their mascot V-Bot be shown as Poseidon. Using this as the starting point, I created a psychedelic, post-apocalyptic sunken city, loosely based on Waterloo Region. The scene is full of quirky references to local history, regional landmarks, and classic art including nods to Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus” and Ed Roth’s Rat Fink.
